The DUI HandbookMs. Callahan has been selected by Thomson-WestTM to author a new publication, The DUI Handbook a comprehensive volume written for Washington State DUI defense lawyers. The treatise will be available in available in October of 2008. Ms. Callahan was selected by Aspatore Books, a division of Thomson-WestTM, which annually publishes the writings of a select group of executives, including Partners and Chairs from more than 90% of the top 250 law firms. She will be authoring a chapter for an Inside the Minds publication focusing on DUI Scientific Evidence. The book will consist of multiple chapters, each authored by a Partner or Chair at a top law firm. The treatise will be available near the end of 2007. The DUI Book – Washington Edition is on its way to the publisher. This book, written by Ms. Callahan, and edited by nationally renown DUI defense lawyer William C. Head, was conceived with the general public in mind, not lawyers. The book is informative, and answers the questions, comprehensively, that most people have when facing a DUI charge. The book will prepare accused citizens by helping them understand the process they will undergo in court and with the Department of Licensing, help them know how best to select a lawyer, and to understand the various defenses that might be available in any given case. The book is expected to be available for purchase on this website by the end of 2007. |
